Now Accepting Swimmers for the Summer

We are accepting new swimmers between the ages of 5 and 13 this summer. We are conducting two types of tryouts for new swimmers. Children that are strong swimmers may take the speed test in the pool which consists of a 50yd timed swim and children that have limited or no swimming skills may take the athletic fitness test which involves running and calisthenics. We train children to become better swimmers. Therefore, they do not need to be great swimmers to join. But if they do not have strong swimming speed to start with, they must pass our team standards in the fitness test to join (not everyone passes).

Our New Swimmer Summer Program will run from July 5th to August 31st at Garden City High School on Middlebelt and Ford Road (6500 Middlebelt, Garden City, MI). The cost is $170. New children between the ages of 4 and 5 will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00-7:00pm. New children between the ages of 6 and 13 will meet Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 6:00-7:30pm. We will be accepting children throughout the summer. So children are not precluded from joining if they miss the beginning of the summer program.
